Our data center and office is powered by 120 on-site solar panels within two arrays which generates our electricity. This grid is owned and operated to power our data center and office. We are the first and only 100% completely solar powered, carbon free hosting company that does not use energy credits.

 

Our solar panel system:

• Eliminates the production of harmful emissions with the equivalent of planting 8 acres of trees per year. Everything is powered by solar, including our office, all servers, a/c systems, networking and other hardware.

Saves emissions in 1 year:

• over 34,488 pounds of CO2 (Greenhouse)
• over 50.6 pounds of Nitrogen oxide (Smog)
• over 37.4 pounds of Sulfate (Acid rain)

Mother nature provides free lighting, why not use it! By using mirrored tubes and windows to harness the suns wonderful rays, we bring in natural solar light and focus the rays of the sun for the most effective use in our building.

Our building is complete with windows and over 7 solar tubes, which bring in natural light from the outside so we don't need to use lighting during the day. The solar tubes also use recycled content in the lenses, fasteners, and trim pieces.

 

Each solar tube:

• replaces 300 watts worth of electric lamps for 8hrs./day, 5 days/week.

Saves emissions in 1 year from a coal-burning power plant:

• over 600 pounds of CO2 (Greenhouse)
• over 2 pounds of Nitrogen oxide (Smog)
• over 5 pounds of Sulfate (Acid rain)
